You have probably heard about 7 year old Amal, a girl who was so malnourished that her heart gave out. Unfortunately, she’s not the only one: every month, over 2000 children starve to death or die from preventable diseases in Yemen.
If we don’t do anything, the Yemeni people, my people, could soon be victims of the world’s worst famine in one hundred years. Help us avoid this. Sign this petition and help us ask everyone to put down their weapons and let humanitarian help be delivered.
Countries – including Germany, the Netherlands and Norway – have started to restrict weapons sales to the Saudi and UAE-led coalition. But other countries, including the USA, UK, Spain, and Canada, are still supplying weapons. We can put pressure on countries to stop the transfers, reduce violations and civilian suffering, and drive home the message to the coalition that continued violations will not be tolerated.

The Saudi-led war on Yemen has caused immense death and destruction. Yemen is facing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, with millions of Yemeni people on the brink of famine as a result of deliberate Saudi policy, and the worst cholera outbreak in recorded history.
By dealing weapons to the Saudis, the Australian government is facilitating illegal war crimes and human rights abuses in Yemen. Australia’s weapons exports undermine its responsibilities as a member of the Arms Trade Treaty.
Sign the petition to demand that Australia cease its weapons exports!
It’s been almost five years now that Saudi Arabia led military coalition waged a war on Yemen. The consequences of this one sided war are devastating. People are dying because of disease like Cholera and Diphtheria. Children, men and women are facing severe shortage of food, water, medicines, proper clothing and other necessities of life due to more then 50 months long blockade of Yemen.
If situation remains the same, in what will be the world’s worst famine crisis in decades, millions of Yemani citizen will die. Saudi-led military coalition must end this inhuman and devastating air, sea and ground blockade and allow humanitarian aid into the Yemani territory.
